Lebanon 1-2-3 describes a day spent in the mountains “en grande famille”. Children can count along in three languages while exploring the beauty and family traditions of Lebanon.
The book features poetic text in English, French, and Arabic by Marijean Boueri and charming, vibrant, full-color paintings by one of Lebanon’s most respected artists, Mona Trad. Take a peek at a sample page.
Lebanon 1-2-3 is the only book available that introduces readers to three languages and two numerical systems of this small, diverse Middle Eastern country. For those new to Lebanese culture, the book promotes multicultural understanding.
Children and adults alike will be captivated by Lebanon 1-2-3. After reading the book, Lebanon will be more than just a name on a map - readers will know what it means to be part of a Lebanese family.
